Visas & Immigration
Visas and residency permits regulate the entry, stay, and residence of foreign nationals in the Xephortian Republic. Foreign nationals who wish to enter or remain in the Republic may be required to obtain an appropriate legal status depending on the purpose and duration of their stay. Under Xephortian law, any person entering the Republic initially holds Tourist Status, which remains valid for a maximum period of fourteen days. To remain lawfully within the Republic past this timeframe, individuals must apply for and be granted a formal residency status.
Residency status provides eligible foreign nationals with lawful residence in the Xephortian Republic for the period and conditions specified by the Government. Visa and residency status remain subject to specific eligibility requirements, verification documentation, and other conditions established by the relevant authorities. Different eligibility requirements, verification procedures, and conditions apply depending on your stay capacity. Ordinary Residency is available to individuals seeking to permanently reside within the Xephortian Republic in their personal capacity, offering specific legal protections and potential pathways to full citizenship. Diplomatic Residency is granted to individuals residing within the Republic as official representatives of a foreign micronation. Additionally, Employment Sponsorship allows residents to undertake official employment within the Republic only when actively sponsored by an authorized employer or registered Xephortian company.
The granting of all entry and residency status remains subject to strict compliance with national legislation. The Government reserves the right to refuse entry or revoke residency status in cases of fraud, misrepresentation, national security concerns, or if an individual is a national of a designated Restricted State. All immigration applications and status reviews are administered directly by the Office of the Taoiseach and designated government authorities.
